I made some smoke in houdini, pretty simple, just made a volcano emitter and mess around with the settings

CAN 2 Project 2 Lip Sync Final




Here we have the the final animation for my CAN 2 project. I added a mustache because I found it funny.

Not much have change since the 2nd pass just little things.

My 2nd pass on my animation, some changes I moved the camera and took of the leg cross. Started to work in auto tangent and began pushing poses.

Here we have the blocking stage of my second project for character animation 2. Our goal was to create an animation based on the audio clip we selected, so I thought of a man drinking tea with his friend and stating that he is the cleve one.

STE Wall Fracture

For this project we made a car hit a wall and make the wall fracture. I import the car and made it follow a path, then key the fracture right before the car hits the wall.

STE Research project

In this project we were assign to make a basketball be shot and getting inside of the hoop. I model both the hoop and the basketball in maya then I export it to houdini. I made a ground plane witch created gravity in the scene, I also made the hoop a static rigid body and the ball and active. After that all I had to do was to add some velocity in z and y.

CAN2 Pantomine Final



My final animation, I added some follow through and just did teaks on some area of the walk, the impact, the throw, and the motion after the throw.

Here I have the passes after the blocking. I started to add up and down poses as well as some moving holds and anticipations.  In the second pass I lower the horizon line to separate the character from the ground even more and also making the building glass to see it better.

Block out of my first project in Character Animation 2. I only have the key poses to tell the story, all keys are in step mode. I kinda want my animation to be a little more realistic but with some cartoony parts to it.

VEF1 Project 3

Here I show my project  from my VEF1 class. Our assignment was to create a soft body effect, I created a some what decent dancing video. The rig was provide online and the music is from a he-man parody. How I went about this was animating the motion first and animating the cameras. After that I selected my geometry and created a soft body duplicate, then I just painted the weights lower in the belly,shin,checks, and ears to have a jiggle effect.

CAN1 project2 Strong Poses


         For project 2 we had to make strong poses. They gave us a file and by only using the silhouette we had to delivery a feeling. We had to start the project by making pre-pro, I used photoshop to draw out my poses and organized them. After that we had to pick one of the poses for each feeling or action, which were relaxed, fear, anger, happiness, sadness, disgust, and balanced.






            In the final playblast I was told that my balanced poses had to be balanced from a leg, not a handstand.

CAN1 project1 final

             Here I bring you my final animation for Character Animation 1. There were three parts to this project, a simple walk, a turn around walk, and to finish it off a jump. I of course wanted to do all of them to practice animation and to get better.
